I am a postdoctoral research associate at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)/ Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) in Miami, Florida. My research adviser is Dr. Rick Lumpkin.
 
Research Interest:
 
    My general research interest in physical oceanography is to use observational data to infer the physical processes taking place in the world ocean. In particular I am interested in characterizing the nature of oceanic velocities in the upper ocean and their relationship to atmospheric forcing, and this at wide ranges of spatial and temporal scales.
