Data Buoy Cooperation Panel in Geneva, Switzerland, October 19-23, 2015

Dr. Rick Lumpkin, Mayra Pazos, Erik Valdes and Shaun Dolk attended the Data Buoy Cooperation Panel in Geneva, Switzerland, October 19-23, 2015.

Rick was co-chair of the US delegation and the Instruments Best Practice Task Team, and presented the Global Drifter Program Report and Tropical Moored Buoy Arrays Report to the panel. Mayra Pazos chaired the Task Team on Data Management and as technical coordinator of the International South Atlantic Buoy Program, presented the report of its activities to the panel. Shaun Dolk chaired the Buoy Program for the Indian Ocean Action Group and was technical coordinator for the North Pacific group. Rick, Erik and Shaun also gave talks during the Scientific and Technical Workshop on the first day of the meeting.
