The Oleander Project

The Oleander Project is an inter-institutional effort between the Bermuda Container Line (BCL), University of Rhode Island (URI), Stony Brook State University of New York (SUNY), the NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NOAA/NFSC), and the NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic Meteorological Laboratory (NOAA/AOML).

AOML provides technical and operational support for the XBT deployments, sea surface salinity/temperature measurements,and the pC02 measurements onboard the MV Oleander. Support for the XBT and TSG portion of the project is from Dr. Gustavo Goni, Dr. Francis Bringas, Ricardo Domingues, Ulises Rivero, Pedro Pena, Paul Chinn, Caridad Gonzalez, and Jim Farrington. While support for the pC02 Project is from Dr. Rik Wanninkhof.
