Hurricane Risk and Loss Projection

Objective :
To support development of the State of Florida Hurricane loss projection model.

Accomplishments :
Simple version of model delivered. Use cases created for Rmax, Beta, Annual occurrence, time of genesis. Manuscript prepared and in review.

FY04 proposed milestones :
Validation of wind field model from a grid point statistics comparison to H*Wind, validation from comparing time series at selected stations from past landfalling hurricanes. Preparation of model submission to the State of Florida Commission.
