Region A changes

  • Storm 4 1915 - Changes to pressure, location, and RMW at landfall to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 1/26/2009
  • Storm 13 1916 - Becomes Storm 14 1916, as an additional storm was added to the latest version of HURDAT. Some changes to pressure and location to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 1/15/2009
  • Storm 3 1917 - Becomes Storm 4 1917, as an additional storm was added to the latest version of HURDAT. Some changes to pressure and location to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 1/15/2009
  • Storm 6 1921 - Some changes to landfall location and winds increased to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 1/28/2010
  • Storm 4 1924 - Becomes Storm 5 1924, as an additional storm was added to the latest version of HURDAT. Some changes to landfall location and winds increased to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 1/28/2010
  • Alma 1966 - Pressure and winds at landfall corrected. 1/28/2009
  • Kate 1985 - Was upgraded to Category 2 with 98 mph winds at landfall to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 1/28/2009
  • Storm 12 1933 - Changed to Storm 11. The location of the landfall and the winds at landfall are changed to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 6/1/2012
Region B changes

  • Storm 14 1916 - Becomes Storm 15 1916, as an additional storm was added to the latest version of HURDAT. Eliminated from data set since the Re-analysis of HURDAT now carries it as a tropical storm at Florida landfall. 1/15/2009
  • Storm 7 1924 - Becomes Storm 10 1924, as additional storms were added to the latest version of HURDAT. Some changes to landfall location and time to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 1/28/2010
  • Storm 2 1925 - Becomes Storm 4 1925, as additional storms were added to the latest version of HURDAT. Some changes to landfall time and pressure decreased to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 1/28/2010
  • Isbell 1964 - Revised landfall wind and category to comply with actual HURDAT wind values not trailer code. 1/22/2009
  • Wilma 2005 - Revised wind value to comply with HURDAT Re-analysis. No substansive change to Base Set or track. 1/16/2009
  • Storm 3 1904 - Renamed Storm 4 1904 to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 12/10/2011
  • Storm 10 1909 - Renamed Storm 11 1909 to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 12/10/2011
  • Storm 4 1925 - Eliminated since it was downgraded to a Tropical Storm by the Re-analysis of HURDAT. 12/10/2011
  • Storm 2 1935 - Changed to Storm 3. The location of the landfall and the winds at landfall are changed to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. The wind decay after landfall lessened. 6/1/2012

  • Storm 3 1904 - Renamed Storm 4 1904 to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 12/10/2011
  • Storm 1 1926 - Moved from Region C to Region D to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 12/10/2011
  • Storm 6 1926 - Renamed Storm 7 1926 to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 12/10/2011
  • Storm 10 1926 - Moved from By-Passing to landfall in Region C with Cat 1 impacts in Region B to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 12/10/2011
  • Storm 5 1933 - The location of the landfall and the winds and pressures of the storm are changed to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 6/1/2012
  • Storm 12 1933 - Changed to Storm 11. The location of the landfall changed of the storm are changed and the decay of the winds after landfall are lessened to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. 6/1/2012
  • Storm 2 1935 - Changed to Storm 3. The location of the landfall and the winds at landfall are changed to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. The wind decay after landfall lessened. 6/1/2012
  • Storm 6 1935 - Changed to Storm 7. The location of the landfall and the winds at landfall are changed to comply with Re-analysis of HURDAT. The wind decay after landfall lessened. 6/1/2012
