Mission Plan :

There is an NHC-tasked G-IV synoptic surveillance mission for Tropical Storm Tomas. Takeoff is 0530Z Nov. 3 from MacDill, and landing in St. Croix eight and half hours later. Targets are the storm itself and the vigorous shortwave trough in the Gulf of Mexico. The flight plan is for 8.5 hr, so if this needs to be trimmed some, we may remove as needed drops 4-7 (though these would be quite valuable to obtain data for). There's a potential follow-on flight for 0530Z Nov 04 takeoff.
