The flight left St. Croix, USVI at 15:06 UTC and returned to St. Croix at 22:08 UTC.

N43RF had three separate penetrations into the large eye and was able to execute a complete step-descent pattern about 70 n.mi. ENE of the center, both upwind and cross-wind patterns, down to 200 ft.. The crew was able to collect excellent BAT probe, CIP probe, and radar data, as well as great video and digital photographs.
