REMARKS:
Although we were late departing TISX due to very-last-minute load of
mx cargo to the aircraft,
we would not have been able to provide a fix at any time between
26/1800 and 26/1830Z due to
center of TS Isaac being overland eastern Cuba at that time. Once we
began beach patrol, we were
able to obtain first fix after center emerged off Cuba at 21:14Z.
Prior to that time, radar presentation
was also very poor... but improved rapidly after moving over water.
