NOAA 49RF flew a Synoptic Surveillance mission around Tropical Storm Alex. The G-IV left MacDill AFB, FL 1750 UTC and recovered back at MacDill at 0158 UTC. 30 drops were made with a slight diversion around Drop 12 to avoid passing too close to the center of Alex.
